What is a giclée?

-Giclée ( pronounced jhee-clay ) is the term used for the latest generation of fine art reproduction. Giclées are printed from an inkjet printer with a microscopic-sized dot pattern allowing for virtual continuous tone printing. Using 10 different colored inks this printer is able to replicate a large range of colors, resulting in the absolute highest quality print imaginable.
